365 days since our journey began Still don't know where both of us are heading to Cautiously confident after all the tests we ran but not quite certain we'll see this journey through Still feel the glow of the fire lighting up the night Or is this the heat of the friction dragging as we fly We are lost in the darkness and blinded by the light Are we ascending or are we falling from the sky Are we falling from the sky. Recalling the roar and the thunder in our hearts Shaking and reeling as we left our old lives behind Now it's up to us to pick up all the parts Clear the confusion that is clouding up our minds Everyone told me to keep it clear Dont you know in heaven or on earth your place is here Dont you know the higher you try to fly The harder you'll come falling from the sky Are we falling from the sky 365 days and I let you go 365 nights and I let you go

My father, sis and me Driving home from school Dad behind the wheel Everything is cool. Talking 'bout the day Talk Talk on the radio All along the way Feeling so secure. Here's the evening news Freedom's dream came true The life that we once knew Changes overdue. Empires will fall Hear the freedom calls Sign of the times 1989 Sometimes I'd go back to 89 Relive the spirit of that time And when the new day came Felt the wind of change Things were set in motion Challenges we had to face Further down the road My sister, dad and me, The groundwork that was laid In those autumn days Hear the recent calls For freedom it should fall Crossing all the lines Just to feel secure Hear the freedom calls Empires will fall Sign of the times 1989

Hey, everyday I take the train to town Be it sunshine, or the rain comes down I've got work to do and bills to pay. Public transport used to be a pit of anonymity One hundred thousand people on their way to wherever they may want to be The one thing I look forward to is when you get on board So we can talk about the weather (thunder, rain or snow or sunshine) Now I know you and you know me, We broke the anonymity and found The common ground we share is fairly small. But don't let me be discontent - one thing that is heaven sent Is that we can get meteorological. Now both of us have seen our share of rain But meeting on that train sometimes makes the sun come out again Everyday I take the train to town Be it sunshine or the rain comes down I sometimes wish you still were around I've got work to do and bills to pay. So we could talk about the weather (thunder, rain or snow or sunshine)
